How to Purchase

To make a purchase please select the items you wish to purchase. When you have made these choices, add them to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.

You can return to your order form by clicking 'shopping basket' in the menu and you may review or amend your order at any time.

When you click 'checkout' in the shopping basket,  you will be asked to enter your name and address details, and it will then calculate the appropriate shipping charge and VAT. Then the final screen will take you to our secure payment site, where you can pay by credit card through WorldPay or PayPal. We accept Master Card, Visa Credit, JCB, Switch, Solo, Visa Debit and AMEX. Please note all our prices are in Pounds Sterling.

Once the payment is accepted your order will be processed and confirmed by email. We aim to  despatch orders within 24 hours of receipt. However, in the event of any unforseen problems, we will advise you immediately if there will be any delay in fulfilling your order.

Please be sure you complete all sections so that your order is fulfilled correctly.

Your order will normally be sent through the Royal Mail, using either their Special Delivery next working day service or Signed for Service for the UK and the International Signed For service for other countries.

Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your order after completing the payment procedure, please advise us immediately as orders received up to midday on Monday to Friday are despatched on that day. There will be a 7% deduction when making the refund to cover the charges made by WorldPay and PayPal. 

Privacy Policy

The Whiteley Hat Company respects your privacy and you may choose when providing your details if you would prefer them to be only used to fulfill the current transaction, or if you would like to receive information about our other products. Whichever you decide, you may rest assured that they will remain confidential at all times and will never be passed on to any other organisation.

Returns Policy

Returns will be accepted for exchange or refund of the price of the item, excluding any postage & packing charges, provided it is returned within 7 days of receipt in the original packing, unworn and with the ticket labels still attached.

For reasons of hygiene we reserve the right not to refund or exchange any hat that has been worn. It is the policy of The Whiteley Hat Company never to sell items that have been previously worn.

In the unlikely event that the item is faulty, the full cost will be refunded.

Please obtain proof of despatch for any returned items as we cannot accept any responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.
